For years, I traveled to yoga festivals, retreats, and studios, carrying the stories of Hindu and Buddhist deities, archetypes, and sacred philosophy to seekers on their path. Alongside my teacher and friend, Manoj Chalam of Murtis and Vedanta, I helped others connect with murtis, energized statues that serve as both symbols and invitations to devotion.

We didn’t just sell statues. We shared mythology, philosophy, and the essence of Bhakti Yoga—the yoga of love and devotion. Through these teachings, we witnessed how people resonated with the Bhav, a Sanskrit word we often describe as the flow of love and devotion, a deep, heart-centered state that transcends thought and becomes pure feeling.
